The short version
- Scan the code on your table on a game day. Your mobile number is your account; there is nothing to install and nothing to buy.
- Points land on your screen straight away and add up all season. Sharing your location while you are at the bar pays the full rate.
- Every 25 points is one entry in the drawing for a catered Big Game party for you + 10 friends.
- To be in the drawing, confirm the email address (or, when texting is on, the mobile number) the screen asks for after your first scan. Points count either way.
- Entries are counted at the close of the final regular-season game day. One prize is awarded.
How points are earned
These are the rules in force today, read from the same table the program pays from. The bar can change them for future game days; points already paid stand.
Checking in

The winner is picked at random from every entry counted at the close. The random seed and the winning entry number are recorded when the draw is made, so the result can be checked afterwards. Odds depend on the number of entries received.
Eligibility
Road to the Big Game is open to guests 21 years of age or older who check in at Sidelines Bar & Grill in person. One account per mobile phone number, and one check-in per code per game day. Employees of Sidelines Bar & Grill and their immediate family members may earn points but are not eligible to win the prize.
No purchase necessary
Taking part is free. Scanning the code on a table, or typing it into the screen, checks you in without buying anything, and points are never sold. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
Points
Points are paid as shown above, at the rates in force on the day of the check-in. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or combined between accounts. Sidelines Bar & Grill may reverse points paid in error, for a claim that turns out to be untrue (for example a jersey photo that shows no jersey) or for abuse of the program, and may close an account used to abuse it.
Entries and the drawing
Every 25 points earned during the entry period is one entry. Entries are counted at the close of the final regular-season game day and the drawing is held on a date to be announced on this page. To be included, an account must have a confirmed email address or, when texting is on, a confirmed mobile number, because that is how the winner is reached. The winner is chosen at random from all entries counted; the draw seed and the winning entry number are recorded and kept. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. One prize will be awarded.
Winner notification and claim
The winner is contacted at the email address or mobile number on the account within 3 days of the drawing and has 7 days to respond and confirm eligibility. If the winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, or is found to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn the same way.
The prize
One prize: a catered Big Game party at Sidelines Bar & Grill for the winner and up to ten guests - a reserved table, game-day food from the bar's menu and the game on the screens - on Big Game day. The prize has no cash alternative and may not be transferred. Sidelines Bar & Grill may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the described prize becomes unavailable. Any taxes on the prize are the winner's responsibility.
General
Void where prohibited by law. By taking part you accept these rules and the decisions of Sidelines Bar & Grill, which are final on all matters relating to the program. Sidelines Bar & Grill may amend these rules or end the program for future game days by posting the change on this page; points and entries already earned stand. Disputes are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Your information
Your mobile number, name, team and email address are used only to run the program and to reach you about it. Each check-in records the time, the code you scanned and your answers to any questions asked. If you allow it, your phone鈥檚 location at that moment (coordinates and accuracy) is recorded and used only to decide the check-in rate; it is never shared. A photo you send is kept with your check-in and shown publicly only if you tick the box allowing it, after staff have looked at it. See the Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
